Celebrating the Start of the School Year With a Mass of the Holy Spirit
It is a tradition in the Church to invoke the Holy Spirit at the beginning of the school year. Following that tradition, we had a wonderful Mass of the HolySpirit September 17! Mrs. Renshaw led our all-student choir in the liturgical music, comprised of both Latin chant and traditional hymns in English.
Father Chuck Collins gave an inspiring homily, detailing the mysterious and surprising movements of the Holy Spirit that allowed St Anne’s parish to lease space to our school. Our board and faculty took an oath of fidelity to the Magisterium, and family, friends, and students enjoyed a reception afterward outside in the beautiful morning weather. Thank you to all who came!
